Choosing the right realtor is one of the most important decisions that a homebuyer or seller will make. Choosing Cindy Stevick will insure that you are respected, listened to, and given the very best in customer service.
Stevick’s life-long commitment to “Making a Positive Difference,” in all aspects of her life, is one of many qualities that set her apart from the competition.
That positive way of thinking has guided her throughout her real estate career, and led to her winning the Helena Association of Realtors’ (HAR) coveted Rookie of the Year award in 2003 after just 8 months in the business. Since that time she has received many individual production awards, earned her Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) and Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designations and obtained her Broker’s license. In addition, Cindy has received the “Fine Homes & Estates” designation which affirms her expertise in selling homes in the $500,000 and above range, and the “Mature Moves” designation specializes in the needs of the senior and aging populations. She has recently earned the “Workforce Housing Specialist” certification through the Montana Association of Realtors, advanced training to assist moderate income home buyers secure specialty home financing programs.
Cindy understands that buying or selling a home is a time of change and is not always comfortable for the client. This transition can be stressful. Drawing on her background in social work, she sees her work in real estate as an extension of those skills. “It is important to allow people to make their own decision. The purchase, or sale, of a house is entirely their choice. I see myself as the one who serves as an advocate for my client in the decision making process.”
That positive attitude has guided her through difficult personal times as well. The experience of caring for her parents when her father was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, and her mother with cancer shortly thereafter, led her to forming an organization that would become the Montana Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association. She now serves on the Board of Directors of this statewide organization and also facilitates the Helena Alzheimer’s Family Support Group.
